Hot For Fall? Or Fail?

I'm not sure what the editors over at Sephora were thinking when they said "texture" (see middle picture) would be in for fall. On the catwalk, maybe, but who actually wants to look like they smeared something resembling crusty eyeshadow on their eyes?

What are your thoughts? Would you consider wearing this out of the house?

    I like the first one but the 2nd one is a bit weird... looks really messy - actually it looks like the eye is being attacked by flies or something.

    I'm not loving it.It looks like somebody was putting on thickening mascara on a bumpy bus ride!
