Every so often, I pop into Dollar Tree to see if they have any makeup goodies to be had (though mostly all I find are either ELF products that are already a dollar or no-name brands I'm not interested in). This time, however, I hit the jackpot and I've heard others in different states finding similar items so get thee to your local Dollar Tree!
I go through bronzer at a glacial pace since I'm so fair, but I couldn't resist picking up one when I saw this! Physicians Formula Healthy Wear!
More Physicians Formula, if you can believe it! I wonder if other stores got different stock, but there was only one colorway at mine. This is the Shimmer Strips in Smoky Hazel Eyes #1150. You can still find this packaging at places like drugstore.com from $8.71 - $9.59!
I also found some Milani, but there wasn't a whole lot of variety and some of the items had been tampered with. I managed to find two that were still safely secured, a Shadow Eyez in Royal Purple and a lip liner in Rose Pink (I hope this works well with my Revlon lipstick).
In the nail arena, I found two packs of the Sally Hansen Salon Effects in unusually bright cheery spring colors #520 Spring Fever and #560 Tie-Dye For (usually it's neon greens or seasonal collections only- but these will actually be season appropriate soon - before they have dried out - both of the colors are on drugstore.com though on sale from their normal $9, so there's hope they haven't completely dried out!)
And finally, I found 1 lone pack of Essie nail appliques, for $1 of course! This color is still on beauty.com for $10.25!!
Have you seen any awesome Dollar Tree sightings lately?

CVS Milani 75% off Sale + Haul
Thanks to Nouveau Cheap, I found out that CVS has put quite a bit of the Milani line on clearance at 75% off (my CVS wasn't marked but the price scanner confirmed the discount so scan if you're unsure). I was pretty well behaved and only picked up 4 items, the HD Advanced Concealer which I have been wanting to try but not at nearly $10 regular price, the Liquif-eye Metallic Eye Liner in Silver, the Nail Lacquer Neon in Techno Red, and the Lip Mixer in Lip Party. Milani products rarely go on sale more than B1G150% so this is great if you've been wanting to try some things. Definitely check the list before you go or pull it up on your iPhone like I did! Happy shopping.

NOTD: Milani Bare To Wear
It's been a long time since I've done a nail of the day but I figured I'd paint my nails as I've finally got them around the same length.
This is Milani Bare to Wear that came out quite awhile ago. It's a lovely gray beige color and is the perfect office appropriate subdued color. I decided to be the tiniest bit daring and add a subtle glitter just on my ring fingers. I used a coat of the Revlon Glimmer Gloss in Pina Colada Pop. It adds a very subtle non chunky glitter to the nails.
Hope everyone is having a great weekend. My husband treated me to a yummy sushi lunch and I came home and watched the 5th Harry Potter Movie. I am so psyched for the last one coming out this summer.

Review: Milani Buzz Worthy Lip Gloss in Bee Rich 03
I'm sure many of us pick things up on sale or clearance that we've never tried, never heard about and generally are reluctant to purchase but the price tips us over the edge. Or in this case, we (I) had a coupon to get so much money off the purchase of Milani products at CVS and this got me to that dollar amount.
Either way, the Buzz Worthy glosses were something I hadn't heard any buzz about (haha so funny). And although I'm not 100% sure that this line of glosses is getting discontinued, they are currently 75% off at CVS making them extremely affordable. For what it's worth, the product is still on the Milani website:
Lips will gleam with this extraordinary high shine, deliciously fragranced lip gloss that delivers a smooth and precise application with its easy to use slanted tip applicator. For moisturized and smooth lips, this gloss was formulated with Honey Extracts, Cranberry Seed Oil, Jojoba Seed Oil and enriched with Vitamins A & E. Available in 9 nourishing shades.
NET WT 0.17 OZ/4.86g
I picked up the shade Bee Rich which is a sheer red with no glitter/shimmer (the other shades in the line, aside from a clear seemed very glittery).
The applicator is kind of cool looking. It's a slant tip but also very long. The tube itself is fairly simple though the metallic accents are kind of nice and not over the top. The coloring changes with each gloss color. Obviously, since this one is red, it has metallic red accents.
The gloss itself is kind of a gel texture. It's kind of sticky upon application but is not sticky on the lips. I was surprised actually to find it rather moisturizing (my guess is all the vitamins added do help a bit). And guys the smell of this is awesome. It smells exactly like watermelon jolly ranchers and it's quite strong. Thankfully, I love the smell of that artificial watermelon, but if you don't, you might want to pass on these even though the gloss is pretty excellent for the price.
The lowest swatch is blended out and the top is layered a bit. Since this isn't goopy or especially runny, you should be able to get away with building it up to a nice juicy red. I prefer just a thin layer to add some shine and tiny bit of color to my lips.
Have you tried this line and thought it "buzz worthy"?

Current Faves
I know I don't do these "Current Fave" posts with any regularity, but I wanted to share what I've been loving lately. These are mostly items that I took with me and wore on vacation.
Barielle Natural Nail Camouflage - If you remember, I picked this up during a recent trip to Tjmaxx and I'm loving it! In fact, I wore only this during the trip to Georgia (I didn't want to scare off DH's 93 year old grandmother) and my MIL even commented how pretty my nails looked. I used around 3 layers and it held up surprisingly well for the trip. And I also do really like it as a base. I feel like polishes go on more smoothly because of it. Is it worth $16 and will I rebuy at retail? Maybe? I hope that I run into this at Tjmaxx again so I can stock up because it's great.
ELF Studio Concealer in Ivory - I did a review of a few ELF face products recently and this was one of the newer items I picked up. I was slightly wrong as this isn't a perfect match for my skin. It is slightly more yellow than my skin (yes I realize it doesn't really look yellow at all I'm just very cool) but because it is ever slightly more yellow, it is great at covering red marks on my face. I especially love this right around my nose. Unfortunately, I can't cover large areas of my face with this as the color is off but for small spots it's perfect.
Clinique Touch Tints for Eyes (Sunlight Palm & Nude Sparkle) - These were the only eyeshadows that I brought with me on vacation and it was more than enough. The Touch Tints can be sheered out or built up so I was able to create several different looks with these two shades. And a plus, no chance of getting broken or smashed in my bag. Nude Sparkle also doubles as an inner corner and/or brow highlight and they stay all day.
Milani Liquif-Eye metallic eye liner pencil in brown - I never did a proper review of these pencils but I'll explain why I love this so much. First of all, price. For a little over $5 the quality and price of these is awesome. Second, a couple weeks ago I went to the eye doctor and got my eyes checked and during the checkup, she flushed my eyes with a solution. Guess what was still there after said flushing? Yup, this pencil. My waterproof mascara didn't survive nearly as well but this stuck. Great for Georgia humidity too.
Fyrinnae Lip Lustre in Bloodstains - I've mentioned this a few other times, but I love this... on my cheeks! It is perfect and it stays all day. Love! I couldn't get a great swatch of it spread out but it's a lovely red flush.

Milani Liquif Eye Metallic Eye Liner Pencil(s)
There's no real review here, though the swatches on my hand are not budging. I picked up Brown and Black. Both are decidedly matte (or really more of a satin as the colors are not completely flat) and not metallic like they claim but rather nice, creamy, smooth and very pigmented.
I'll write a proper review when I've tested them on both the lid and waterline.

Go To CVS Now!
Well, it just goes to show, I should write blog posts and not watch reruns of My So Called Life on Hulu.com because none other than the (awesome) lady that reminded me of how much I love(d) My So Called Life posted about this before I had the chance!
Milani cosmetics are Buy 1 get 1 50% off this week and if you go scan your Extracare card at the red scanner thingy, it may just spit out a BOGO Milani cosmetics coupon. I discovered this when I went to CVS on Monday. I was planning on buying the new Liquif Eye Milani eyeliners anyway (especially after seeing the Muse's review), but I'm super glad I made a trip to the scanner.
Not only that, but the cashier took off the more expensive priced product, not the one I was getting 50% off, so I got 2 of the new Milani eyeliners for just under $3.
Go scan your card and see if you get this awesome coupon (you likely will)! And let me know what you pick up!

Glee!
Glee was on last tonight. I am thoroughly addicted to this new show, probably because I was one of them in high school. I was in choir and madrigals and... Divas. Yeah, that was the name of the small women's ensemble I was in, very show choir-esque. We had baby blue sequined dresses, enough said.
But, what else am I glee-ful about?
(Perhaps) the biggest sale of the year! Sephora Friends & Family. Use code ff2009 from October 19th to November 2nd, 2009 for 20% off at Sephora.com. I have my list all ready. How about you?
Oh, and as previously mentioned, I have gotten into nail polish again. A few weeks ago, CVS was having a BOGO 50% sale on Milani and I took the opportunity to grab a few of the LE polishes.
I bought: Enchantment (black base with blue shimmer), Charmed (black base with silver shimmer), Whimsical (black base with purple shimmer) and Spellbound (black base with red shimmer).
Here I am wearing Spellbound. This was a rushed 2 coats or so. Isn't it pretty (even DH liked it)? The glitter/shimmer isn't out there obvious and while it makes my nails a little bumpy, I'm probably the only person (aside from you) that notices that they are uneven. And you can't beat the price (even pre-sale they were about $4.50).
