NOTD: OPI Lincoln Park After Dark Suede

I'm usually not a fan of OPI. This particular shade is fairly thick and a little hard to apply the first coat, however, it only took 2 coats to get my nails completely opaque and since it's a suede it dries super fast. I love love love this color.

Goooorgeous. Glad I picked up a few of these suede colors at 50% off; at Beauty First they were originally $8.50 so I got them for $4.25 - not too shabby. I can't stop staring at my nails!

It looks like it has a very interesting texture. I know you said "suede", but what exactly IS the texture of the polish? I have this tendency to touch my nails when they're painted because the feeling is so different from regular nails...haha, weird personal habit, I suppose.

@sunniipinky: It's fairly smooth. I wish I had an unpainted nail so I could compare for you! No obnoxious glitter texture on top that's for sure!

Ooh, I likey! Bah, girl, you are gonna make me broke XD I have to see if this sell this at Cosmo Prof cause I'm way too cheap to pay full price!

I usually am not a huge fan of OPI, just from using it when I worked at a salon. I think it works a lot better on acrylic or gel nails (someone told me thats why it was created, but not sure about that!). I have a few OPI colors that I love, but I mostly don't use em.

@Lisa Kate: What, little 'ol me (looks innocent)? Yeah, me too, as you can probably tell, I seldom pay full price for anything.

I don't love the OPI brush and some of the polishes run a little thick but I can deal with it when the color is gorgeous.
