I picked up 2: Soft Rose #40 & Plum #10
Both are the creme formula, which is great since I'm not a huge fan of glitter in my lip products. They look very similar in this picture, but Plum is significantly darker and cooler than Soft Rose. I'm going to have to give Revlon props on this lipstick; a) The packaging is adorable and they come sealed so that cuts down on the tampering that we all know we get at our local drugstores; b) They made these look luxe - notice the small Revlon engraving on the lipstick...
And c) No offensive smell or taste! Yay Revlon!Swatches: Plum on the left followed by Soft Rose. These are a couple of swipes back and forth on my ghostly pale hand (see why I shy away from natural light? Now you know!). I can see these going on as a sheer swipe of color (which I prefer) or built up to more opaque coverage.
All in all, for $8.99 or $4.50 on sale, these are definitely something I'd pick up. The only issue is you have no idea what the colors look like since you can't see them through the tube (since it's completely opaque). Thankfully most US drugstores have generous return policies in case the colors don't suit you.

LOVE BOTH! Now I need someone to CP them for me!
@ musicalhouses: Was that a subtle hint? =p
I can do a CP for you if you want. I'm assuming you want to wait till they go on sale next. Just shoot me an e-mail and I'll keep an eye out for you and of course let me know what colors you want. =)
Thank you for the review! These look awesome, going to have to watch Walgreen's (no CVS close by) for their next BOGO sale.
Thanks so much for the link love, honey! I'm SO glad these are working out for you. I love that there's such a crazy dupe in this collection, however I just can't get these to last more than 30 minutes on my lips. After about a half an hour, I'm left with a ring of color on the outside edges of my lips, which is SO attractive. lol. Of course I'm keeping Soft Rose for the dupe factor alone, but I just really wish I could find a way to increase the staying power. :(
These look gorgeous!! I like Plum a lot...if only I could get over my fear of dark lip colors!
@Recessionista!: I'm so confused about that, because mine just lasted several hours and that was including smearing lipbalm all over my poor dry winter lips, drinking coffee and some Diet Mountain Dew. I also only needed 1 swipe to get any color, but my lips are fairly pigmented on their own and I prefer a sheer glossy coverage anyway.
@brenlorken: Neat! Hope you like them as much as I do! =)
@Lisa Kate: See, plum I have no problem with, it's red that I really don't ever leave the house in... on? With? Anyway. I think the closest I've ever gone is NARS Flair which is red's little sister.
